Executive team
We are managed by the executive team, and led by the Chief Executive. The team is responsible to the NAIT Board for the day-to-day operations of the NAIT scheme.
Members
Members of the executive team (listed alphabetically after the Chief Executive) are:
Russell was appointed as the inaugural Chief Executive of NAIT Ltd in 2010. He is responsible for managing the implementation of the NAIT scheme.
Russell is highly experienced in legislative processes and regulatory development. During his long career with the Ministry of Fisheries, he had an active involvement in the establishment of the world-leading Quota Management System (QMS).
Russell enabled the smooth transfer of functions from the Ministry to an industry body. He also supported the QMS and aquaculture industries by leading its ongoing administration. He left the Ministry in 2009.
Russell held a leadership position with the Ministry for the Environment, before joining NAIT Ltd.
